It has been announced that the All-Ireland Setanta Cup will start in August and will go through to May 2010. 9 clubs this year from both South and North of the border will compete for the final in May next year. 3 groups of 3 will make the 1st round with the group winners and best runners-up going into the semi-finals.
August 29th is the kick-off date for the competition with the final being played on May 15th 2010.
League of Ireland: Bohemians, Cork City, Derry City, St Patricks, Sligo Rovers
JJB Premiership: Cliftonville, Coleraine, Glentoran, Linfield
