Former Celtic midfielder Colin Healy has signed a new contract with Cork City. The former Sunderland and Celtic player has signed until 2010 reportedly and will be in the squad for next season.
Cork City had agreed the deal before former manager Alan Matthews was sacked and the new owners went through with the deal.
Healy's signing will be good news but there is some bad news with Liam Kearney unlikely to be staying at Turner's cross or even Ireland with rumors of a move to Heerenveen in Holland, who tried to sign him back in 2005. Kearney is also on the list by some Swedish and Norwegian clubs.
